The Mission of Fundación Grupo Mariana is clear and simple:

“To create and support through education and health care a sustainable model of community economic and social development that will improve the lives of local citizens.”

Underlying this miision is a vision for the New Nicaragua as a place where:

• All citizens will enjoy improved standards of living
• All children will be educated and prepared to embrace opportunities
• Quality health care available to all
• Training and jobs are plentiful
• Arts and culture are encouraged
• Natural resources and the environment are protected and sustained

Achieving these objectives will require the ANTHROPOLOGIST commitment and support of many people, and may take many forms. It also will require financial support, and Fundación Grupo Mariana will actively undertake ongoing and consistent activities to raise funds from a wide range of donors.

Above all, Fundación Grupo Mariana, its staff and supporters plan to lead by example, in hopes that many will join its efforts or undertake their own. The ultimate goal is to transform the New Nicaragua into Central America’s most admired and respected country where all citizens enjoy healthy and positive lives.
